Acts of Mercy

Above: 15+ people trained to provide care team support for our Beloved Felice Piazza at the end of her life.

Congregational Care provides love, care and support for our members struggling with long-term physical ailments, mental illness, those who are isolated or in need of other assistance.

You can get involved by bringing food or materials, providing transportation, or giving financial assistance. Contact Nancy Sales or Marianne Dreyspring for details.

Our Brown Bag Ministry provides groceries monthly for 48 hungry families. Volunteer to pack bags on the third Wednesday of the month at 5 pm or help us welcome families on the following Saturday at 10 am. Contact Molly Merkle to volunteer.

Our Food Pantry accepts donations to help neighbors through the in-between times. Bring food anytime.

In partnership with Family Promise and Baptist Church of the Covenant, rotating weeks with other churches across the city, we help to provide overnight shelter and meals for homeless families. Volunteers are always needed to cook, serve and stay overnight once per quarter.

In 2018, we need volunteers on January 24th, May 6th-9th, August 19th-22nd and December 2nd-5th. Contact Jackie Limbaugh to volunteer.
